Art, comics, graphic design and web development by the artist: Matthew Taylor

I was looking for something to paint when I saw some fruit across the room.
I didn't do any preliminary drawing this time, which is not like me at all. I just started painting areas of colour straight away and then neatened things up as I progressed. I was more concerned in reproducing the exact colours that I saw rather than the exact shapes. As a result, the blue stripes on the plate are slightly wonky!
Overall, I'm quite happy with the outcome.
